This affects only Fujifilm X-Trans RAW files in DxO PhotoLab 5 and DxO PureRaw 2. With the latest version of Apple’s Monterey 12 (macOS v12.3) Apple introduced a bug which slows down considerably the Apple Neural Engine cores used in all M1 Macs. You should always use DeepPRIME with X-Trans files in my opinion as it also improves the demosiacing and it’s not great without it. Note that For Fujifilm X-Trans RAW files, only HQ and DeepPRIME denoising options are available PRIME is not. You can also now quickly select the profile that was used when shooting with the camera, and also, have this applied automatically. It is also possible to automatically apply the camera body rendering to Fuji RAW images using a new option in the preferences panel.įrom what I understand from this, you no longer need to have DXO Film Pack installed to get access to the Fujifilm Film Simulation modes (I’m trying to verify this).
